Worth knowing about Taipei
- The Taipei Metro provides free mobile phone connections in all stations, trains and tunnels, so service does not drop underground.
- Taipei Main Station offers in-town check-in and baggage drop for the Airport MRT, with bags carried to Terminal 2 on the Express trains.
- Airport MRT Express trains take 35 to 37 minutes to the terminals; the Commuter service on the same line is much slower, 82 minutes end to end.
