Newsroom

Announcements, dated, with the numbers attached.

Everything Orbislo has said on the record, newest first. Each release carries a figure you can check against the live site. If a release ever stops matching the product, that is a correction we owe you, and you should write to us and say so.

Five announcements so far this year. We post when something changes rather than on a calendar, because a newsroom that has to fill a monthly slot ends up publishing weather.

12 languages, including full right to left

Orbislo now ships in 12 languages: English, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, 繁體中文, العربية, Türkçe and Bahasa Indonesia.

Arabic is a genuinely mirrored layout rather than a flipped screenshot, and it is the only right to left language on the site today. Hebrew, Persian and Urdu are in the plan and are not shipped yet.

The throttle threshold, the refund rule and the fair use number are translated into every one of them, because the fine print is the part that most needs to be readable in the language you think in. Machine translation was used for a first pass. Every string on the purchase path was then reviewed by a human speaker.

The destination milestone, on the way to the target

The one hundred and forty fifth destination went live this week. Each one is added only after our partner networks in that territory clear an internal delivery bar, which is why the number moves slower than the category leader.

Airalo reaches 169 destinations on its global plan and Saily is around 121, so on raw destination count we sit between them, and we say so on our own comparison pages.

Fifty five territories that we could have listed with a warning label have no buy button at all, because selling a connection we cannot deliver is a refund with extra steps.

Data · 2 April 2026

The coverage dataset goes public

Orbislo published the coverage dataset behind every speed figure on the site. Numbers come from real customer traffic rather than synthetic speed tests.

Each measurement carries a coarse location of roughly one kilometre, and nothing is published for a cell with fewer than 25 samples.

Every country page now shows the median, the slowest tenth and the number of travellers measured, including the countries where the answer is unflattering. Measurement is explained at onboarding and one switch turns it off, immediately.

The throttle number moves to the buy button

The fair use threshold for unlimited day passes is now printed on the purchase button itself: full speed to 2 GB a day, then 1 Mbps for the rest of that day. Metered plans have no throttle at all and say so.

Independent testing has measured one major competitor throttling near 3 GB a day at 10 to 22 Mbps. Another publishes no threshold at all and was measured near 7 Mbps before throttling and under 1 Mbps after.

Conversion on the unlimited passes fell in the first fortnight after the change. We kept it anyway.

Company · 8 January 2026

Automatic refunds, without a ticket

Provisioning failures are now refunded by the system itself within 60 seconds of the failure, with no ticket, no form and no conversation.

Price drops within 30 days of a purchase are credited to the wallet automatically. Frontline support can approve a refund up to 200 dollars without escalation.

The company target for provisioning success is 99.5 percent, which means the failure rate is a published expectation rather than a surprise.

How to work with us

Write to press at orbislo.com. Tell us your outlet, your deadline and what you actually need, and you will get a human rather than a form.

We will give you a figure or we will tell you we do not have one. We will not give you a figure we cannot source, and we will not ask to review your copy before publication.

If you are testing the product for a review, ask us for a test account rather than buying one. We do not want a reviewer to be the person who discovers a provisioning failure on their own card.

We would also rather your speed measurements came from a plan we did not hand pick. Our coverage pages publish the sample count behind every median, so you can check our numbers against yours.

Assets and boilerplate

Logos, the brand fact table and the approved boilerplate paragraph live in the media centre.

Questions people actually ask

How often do you publish here?
When something changes that a customer or a journalist would want to know, and not on a schedule. We would rather post five releases in a year that all carry a number than eighteen that carry an adjective.
Can I quote these releases?
Yes, in full or in part, without asking. Every figure in a release is one we are willing to defend. If you need the underlying method for a coverage number, the coverage pages carry the sample count for each measurement.
Do you send an embargoed version to press?
Yes, usually 48 hours ahead for anything material. Write to press at orbislo.com and say which beat you cover. We do not run an exclusivity ladder, so everyone on the list gets the same document at the same hour.
Where do I get logos, screenshots and the boilerplate?
The media centre carries the boilerplate paragraph, the brand fact table, the logo rules and the asset pack. It is the only place we keep approved marks.
Do you announce incidents here?
No. Incidents go to the status page in real time and a post mortem follows within 72 hours for anything over 30 minutes. The newsroom is for planned announcements, so it never competes with the page you need during an outage.
Will you comment on a competitor?
On the record, with a source, when the comparison is factual and testable. We publish our own losses on the same pages, so a quote from us about a rival will usually arrive with a number attached and a caveat about where they beat us.
