Creators
Same commission as an affiliate, plus a fee, plus the data.
The creator track is the affiliate track with three things added: a flat fee for commissioned work, data to actually test with, and a written promise that we will not ask to approve your script.

15
percent commission, the same number an affiliate gets, at any volume
50
gigabytes a year to test with, no posting requirement attached
$400.00
the floor on a commissioned piece, paid on delivery not on sales
2
working days to an answer, with a reason attached either way
The commission is identical, and we are saying that first on purpose
A lot of creator programmes in this category are a worse affiliate deal with a gift attached. You get sent a free plan, you get a custom code, and the rate quietly sits below what a comparison site with a spreadsheet negotiated last year.
Ours is the same number. 15 percent of net revenue as standard, 20 percent above 250 orders in a month, a 90 day last click window, and 12 months of that customer's repeat orders rather than the first purchase only. Every one of those is published on the affiliate page and neither page gets a different version.
If the only thing you want is the link, take the affiliate track and skip the rest of this page. It pays the same and there is nothing to apply for beyond an email.
Affiliate track and creator track, side by side
| Affiliate | Creator | |
|---|---|---|
| Commission on net revenue | 15 percent, 20 percent at the top band | The same, with no difference at any volume |
| Cookie window | 90 days, last click | 90 days, last click, plus a code |
| Repeat orders | 12 months | 12 months |
| Flat fee for a commissioned piece | None | $400.00 to $2,000.00, paid on delivery |
| Data to test with | None | 50 GB a year, topped up every 3 months |
| Application | An email, answered in 2 working days | 3 recent pieces, answered in 2 working days |
| Audience floor | None | 2,000 engaged followers or 1,000 monthly readers |
| Exclusivity | None | None |
| Script or copy approval | None | None, in writing |
The commission rows are identical on purpose. The creator track adds to the affiliate deal, it does not replace it, and any programme that offers you a gift in exchange for a lower rate is doing the opposite.
What a paid brief pays
A brief is commissioned work. We ask for a specific piece, we agree the scope in writing, and we pay the fee on delivery on net 15. The fee does not depend on how the piece performs, because a creator should not be carrying our conversion rate for us.
Commission runs on top of the fee rather than instead of it. If a briefed video earns 15 percent on two hundred orders, you keep the fee and the commission both.
One round of changes is included. If we ask for a second round because we changed our minds rather than because the brief was missed, we pay for it again at half the fee.
You keep the work and the copyright. We ask for the right to repost it in our own channels with credit for 12 months, and that right ends when the window does. We do not buy your channel and we do not buy silence about anything.
What a brief pays
| Format | Fee | What we ask for | What you keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| Written review | $400.00 | One piece on a site you own, with the install tested and the disclosure above the link. | Copyright, the piece, and commission on top of the fee. |
| Video under 10 minutes | $900.00 | One video with the install shown on screen and a speed test you ran yourself. | Copyright, the video, and commission on top of the fee. |
| Destination series, 3 parts | $2,000.00 | 3 pieces across one region, delivered over a quarter, with the coverage numbers cited from the public dataset. | Copyright, the series, and commission on top of the fee. |
Paid on delivery on net 15, not on performance. One round of changes is included, and a second round we caused is paid again at half the fee. We may repost with credit for 12 months and that right then ends.
The data, and what you owe us for it
Nothing. Accepted creators get 50 GB a year, topped up every 3 months, and it does not expire, so an unused quarter is not lost.
There is no posting requirement attached to it. It is not a trade and it is not a retainer. It exists because a review written by somebody who has never installed the profile reads exactly like a review written by somebody who has never installed the profile, and readers can tell.
Use it wherever you like, including on a trip you never mention us on. Use it to test a competitor's coverage claim against ours. If our data is slower than theirs somewhere, we would rather you found out with our gigabytes than published a number you had to guess at.
No exclusivity, no script approval, one disclosure
There is no exclusivity clause and there will not be one. Work with Airalo and Saily in the same week if you want to. A comparison that only ever recommends one product is not a comparison, and your audience worked that out years ago.
We do not approve scripts. We will not ask to read a video before it goes up, we will not send notes on the edit, and we will not withhold a fee because the review was critical. The only thing we can ask you to change is a factual error, and we have to show you the measurement that proves it is one.
What we do require is a disclosure that a reader sees before the link, not one buried under a fold or in a description they have to expand. Say it is paid, say it is affiliate, say both where both are true. This is the law in most places you will publish, and it is also the reason your recommendation is worth anything.
If we ever break the no approval rule, say so publicly. That is a fair use of the relationship and we would deserve it.
Who we take, with the floor published
2,000 engaged followers on one platform, or 1,000 monthly readers on a site you own. Either one is enough and we do not add them together into a hurdle.
At least 3 travel pieces published in the last 12 months. Not because we want a portfolio, but because the track is built for people who are already doing this rather than people who would like to start.
Engaged is doing work in that sentence and we should define it. We look at comments and saves rather than follower count, because a bought audience does not ask questions about roaming. If the numbers look unusual we will ask, and the answer is usually fine.
We answer inside 2 working days with a yes, a no with a reason, or a suggestion that the affiliate track suits you better right now. Nobody gets left in a pipeline.
The code, the link, and how they fit together
You get both. The link carries the 90 day cookie. The code catches the person who saw your video, did not click, and typed the name into a browser three weeks later, which is most of a video audience.
Your code takes $5.89 off your audience's first order, and that discount is ours rather than yours. It does not come out of your commission, which is a thing worth checking on every other programme you are in.
The dashboard shows the link and the code separately, updated every 1 hour, so you can see which of your formats actually moves people rather than guessing from a single blended number.
What we will not pay for
Short, and here rather than in a statement three months from now.
- A speed or coverage claim we cannot support with a measurement. Use our published numbers with the date and the sample size beside them.
- An unqualified claim that we are the fastest anywhere. In several countries we are not, and we publish those countries ourselves.
- Bidding on our brand name in paid search, or a video that exists only to rank for it.
- Engagement bought from a service, whether or not it worked.
- A missing disclosure. We will ask once, then stop the payments until it is fixed.
How to apply
Send links to 3 things you have made in the last 12 months, the platform you would publish on, and where your audience travels. No deck, no media kit, no call unless you want one.
Tell us if you want a brief or just the link. Both are fine and one is not a lesser version of the other.
Buy a plan first if you can afford to. Every creator we have taken on so far had already installed it, and it shows in the first draft.
Questions creators ask
Is the commission lower on the creator track?
Do I have to post to keep the data?
Can I work with your competitors?
Will you ask to approve my script?
When do I get paid, and is the fee separate?
What is the audience floor?
Does my code cost me anything?
What if I want the link but not the brief?
Test it before you write about it
Read the prices, look at the measured speeds for the countries you actually film in, and check whether the destinations you cover are live. The coverage dataset is public and machine readable, so you can build your own comparison instead of reprinting ours.
