Underground and on the metro
Prague Metro runs 3 lines. It opened in 1974. The operator does not publish whether the tunnels carry a mobile signal, so we do not claim either way.
Worth knowing about Prague
- Prague Airport has no metro or train station: every public-transport arrival starts on a bus, and only then transfers to the metro.
- A rail link from the airport to Masarykovo station is only in planning - construction was said in 2025 to start in 2027, with opening in 2030.
- The Airport Express to the main railway station is not covered by ordinary Prague transport passes; you buy a separate ticket.
- Between 22:00 and 05:00 the daytime airport buses stop and only night routes 910 and 907 run, each taking around 50 minutes.
