Worth knowing about Mendoza
- The airport is 8 km northeast of the centre of Mendoza.
- Three Mendotran bus routes reach the terminal: the 680 express from the long-distance bus terminal and the city centre, and the 675 and 676 from Plaza Las Heras.
- Mendoza's urban rail is the Metrotranvia, a single light-rail line opened in 2012; it is not a metro and it does not yet reach the airport, though an extension to El Plumerillo is under construction.
- The airport is a public/military field: the Argentine Air Force's 4th Air Brigade occupies its southern section.
